BaS 01 Getting to Know You

This episode is about getting to know us! Next episode’s theme is scary stories. Call in with stories or write them in!
The show starts off with some technical difficulties, but we got it working! The music was supposed to be in the show, but for some reason, it just comes out as dead air. Sorry for that. Also, something really weird happened with the audio every time I talked. I already found the solution to this problem, and I will fix it for next episode. I’m sorry if it sounds terrible. And some time in the future, I will be hooking Skye up with Skype, too. So her quality won’t be like 56Mbps or whatever terrible bitrate it is now. She will be on the phone until I get the chance to set it up for her. Just sit through it. 
We discuss a little big about how sad we are at trying to figure out podcasting. Skye likes sixties music.
Brent decides this is episode 1. Then he says a domain for the show will come for episode 5. Too bad www.brentandskye.com is already here.
Skye asks if the podcast will be on every Sunday, but we haven’t decided for sure yet. Then we decide not to use the theme. We will delay it for the next episode. This show will be about stories about each other.
Brent tells a story of how Skye “dissed” him. In the process, he introduces the Three Juliets and One Romeo (Brent, Skye, Caroline, and Emily).
Skye tells the story about her kising Brent on the cheek. Brent retells the story of the whole day from his point of view.
Then, we collaboratively read “Three Juliets and One Romeo”, the story written by us. You can download it here. The 1 second intermission happened near the end of the story. Skye never understood the end of the story until now.
Skye suggests reading parts of our NanoWrimo books. She gives a summary of her book, Purple Haze. Then, Brent goes into detail about his terribly stupid NanoWrimo attempt.
Then Brent explains NaPodPoMo, and how we will not be doing this, because it would take too much time. We’ll be doing NanoWrimo again next year too.
Then Skye talks even more in depth about her book. She explains the “Reignboys”. Skye starts to tell a Sea Lab story, but we’ve decided we will have individual Sea Lab and Washington DC.
Skye tells about Hip-Hoppin’ through the Outback. Then she tells about the Castaways in the 4th grade. Then Brent was a Turkey in 3rd grade. Did Brent’s blood come out? No! His plug came out!
Skye says she used to be fat, but Brent argues that she wasn’t. Then we talk about friends’ and teachers’ heights.
Brent is going to surprise Caroline by showing up to her performance in Les Miserables.
Then Brent tells about the time he cried because he got the part of Butch, the bully, in the Castaways in 4th grade.
We should also have a full show completely dedicated to our experiences at “the game” with Currie as a guest host.
